IAN MAXION

Ian Maxion lives by three words-- Make It Happen! Whatever cards life deals him, he plays the hand and accomplishes what he needs to by utilizing his talents, knowledge, and resources. He is a graduate of the Art Institute of California - San Francisco with a bachelor's degree in advertising with an emphasis in graphic design and fashion.

Ian is itching to prove himself and wants to establish a professional reputation throughout the creative industries. He is comfortable wearing many hats, and works fully composed under intense pressures and countless circumstances. Ian specializes in advertising, print, branding, design, fashion, graphic art, photography and marketing. He has had the opportunity to work with a number of companies providing assistance with design, marketing strategy, creative direction, brand developement and PR-- and Ian is yearning to do more.

A proud recipient of a 2009 Silver Student ADDY Award for an ad campaign in a trade magazine and winner of the AICA-SF 2009 Best Portfolio award in the advertising department. Ian's work has been published in 7x7 Magazine, SF Weekly, and SF Gate. While in college he was the treasurer of AdLab (Advertising Club) and in 2008 was the assistant organizer for the BAFC (Bay Area Freelance Collective). Ian has been on the deans list three times and graduated with a cumulative GPA of 3.6.

Ian Maxion's unique blend of life experiences has made him a man with an original point of view. Combined with this perspective, he finds inspiration in the past the present as well as the future.
